Boots and Buckles Blood Drive

LifeServe Blood Center is teaming up KMIT to host a special event Boots and Buckles Blood Drive!  This special event will take place on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Mitchell Donor Center, located at 1401 North Main St. in Mitchell, SD. 

There are no appointments necessary for these blood drives and all donors will receive a FREE t-shirt!
 
Blood donations are especially important going into the summer months in order to ensure an adequate blood supply for local hospitals.  Just one unit of blood can help save the lives of up to three different hospital patients and donations are needed now to maintain a stable blood supply.   When you donate blood you are helping others and supporting your community.

Can you Donate Blood?
To donate blood with LifeServe Blood Center, donors must be at least 16 years old (16 and 17 year-old donors must have a signed parental consent form) and must weigh at least 120 pounds.  Donors should be in good general health and should eat a good meal prior to donating.
